Kramer, Sikes, Emerson
to participate in PBI Institute
Editor Don Kramer, Tax Editor Virginia Sikes, and Montgomery, McCracken attorney Karl Emerson will all participate as presenters in the Pennsylvania Bar Institute’s Nonprofit Institute in Philadelphia, May 13.
Kramer will present his annual review of the year in nonprofit law and speak with Dena Markowitz of the Pennsylvania Bureau of Charitable Organizations on the requirements of the new Form 990 tax information return.
Sikes will talk on developments in Pennsylvania charitable tax exemptions, and Emerson will discuss the value of charity compliance assessments. (See Ready Reference Page: “Compliance Assessments Protect Charities.”)
