Issues Notes
Kramer, Emerson to discuss
new Form 990 requirements
Editor Don Kramer and Montgomery, McCracken attorney Karl Emerson will discuss the provisions of the new Form 990 in three presentations during May and June.
Talking on the Form as a public relations opportunity or a trap for the unwary, and considering the Form from the point of view of a potential donor and a governmental regulator, they will speak for the Pennsylvania Association of Nonprofit Organizations at the Montgomery, McCracken office in Philadelphia on Tuesday, May 20 and at the PANO headquarters in Harrisburg on Wednesday May 28. Continuing professional education credits will be available for accountants who attend those sessions.
Other presenters will be discussing the new Form in seven other sessions for PANO throughout the state. For more information on any of them, visit www.pano.org.
Kramer and Emerson will also discuss the new Form for the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants at their annual Not-for-Profit Conference in Hershey on Monday, June 2. For more information, visit www.picpa.org.
