Questions about complying with the new reforms?
Discuss the issues and Ask the Editor, January 11
Many of the provisions of the charitable reform sections of the Pension Protection Act take effect for charities and their donors on January 1, 2007. (See Ready Reference Pages: “Congress Passes Charitable Reforms, Approves Limited Giving Incentives” and “Charities Have New Opportunities, Responsibilities in Fundraising Under Pension Act.”)
If you have questions and want to assure that you are in compliance with all of the new requirements, join our Ask the Editor telephone conference call at 1 p.m. E.T., Thursday, January 11, 2007. Editor Don Kramer, a Philadelphia lawyer who represents nonprofits of all types and sizes, will discuss the issues and practical impact of the new rules.
The call will focus on the new Act, but will cover any other issue of nonprofit law if there is time.
You won’t get legal advice but you will get Don’s reactions
based on more than 35 years of experience with nonprofits. Subscribers
