Kramer to participate at this year’s
Risk Management Center Institute
Editor Don Kramer will present a program on “Common and Confounding Lessons from Recurring and Wacky Employment Cases” at the annual Nonprofit Risk Management Center Institute in Washington this month.
Kramer will present the separate program in the morning of Tuesday, October 19 and will also participate in a luncheon panel on “The Employment Trends Crystal Ball; Looking Over Your Shoulder and Into the Future.”
The tenth annual Institute will focus on employment practices, youth protection, and insurance. It begins on Sunday, October 17. For more information or registration go to www.nonprofitrisk.org.
Kramer to present “Legal Basics”
In Penn Certificate program
Editor Don Kramer will present a full day seminar on “legal basics” as part of the University of Pennsylvania Certificate program in nonprofit executive administration on Thursday October 21.
The day includes a session on hot topics in nonprofit law, a mock board meeting of the LOST organization raising tax exemption and governance issues, and a discussion between a development director and the assistant development officer raising legal and ethical issues in charitable giving.
