Kramer and Sikes to lead PBI programs
Nonprofit Issues ® Editor Don Kramer and Tax Editor Virginia Sikes will lead three all-day legal seminars for the Pennsylvania Bar Institute in March. The first program was held in Pittsburgh on March 5 the second in Philadelphia on March 19. The final program will be in Mechanicsburg on March 31.
Each program covered the hottest topics in nonprofit law, a meeting of the LOST organization to discuss issues of governance, fiduciary duty, and general corporate law, a mock audit by the IRS to cover issues of federal tax law, and a session on ethical implications of the previous situations. Six hours of CLE credits, including one on ethics, is available.

Kramer to speak on Board Issues for La Salle
Editor Don Kramer will present a half day workshop on "Legal Issues Facing Nonprofit Boards" for the La Salle University Nonprofit Center on Tuesday, April 6 in Philadelphia . The program will run from 9:30 to 12:30 at Kramer's law office at Montgomery, McCracken, Walker & Rhoads.
