When a convicted child molester learned he was dying of cancer and sought to put his affairs in order, his criminal defense lawyer, a clinical law professor, asked some students to draft the will. The professor told the students to write the will, as the convict requested, so that half of the estate would go to the convict’s brother and the other half to the American Cancer Society.
