Endorsement covers member acting on behalf of club,
not shooting turkeys with friend on off-site location
A general liability insurance policy that protects members of a nonprofit hunting club, but only with respect to their liability for club activities or activities they perform on behalf of the club, does not cover a member who accidentally shoots a friend while hunting turkeys at some other location. A federal District Court in Pennsylvania has issued a declaratory judgment that the carrier has no duty to defend the member in a suit brought by his friend.
