In nonprofit charitable organizations are secret, closed assemblies allowed?

You don't indicate your relationship to the organization in question so it is not possible to answer with respect to your personal situation. Ordinarily, however, a nongovernmental charitable organization may hold meetings closed to the general public. Meetings of members of a corporation can be limited to members and meetings of the Board may be limited to members of the Board.
