What do you cover?
We select from current federal and state cases the issues of
critical importance to nonprofit executives and their advisors
such as:
- federal tax law
- employment law
- board liability
- volunteer law
- corporate governance
- foundation rules
- charitable giving
- insurance
- copyright
- trademark
We put it all in a format that is quick to scan, easy to read and sometimes fun. Every issue includes either a Ready Reference Page summarizing some aspect of the rules and regulations that control nonprofit activity or our Risk & Reward column, written by Melanie Herman of the Nonprofit Risk Management Center, Washington, D.C.
<Comments from readers:
Your piece
on lobbying rules was the best I have ever seen on the topic
a nice combination of clarity and progressiveness. You have
developed Nonprofit Issues into a tightly written and edited,
valuable publication which fills a unique niche.

We are not
attorneys and Nonprofit Issues is easy to read and understand.
It is an indicator of trends that is very essential.
