A wheelchair-bound client of a private residential facility who was injured by an uninsured motorist as she attempted to enter a grocery store has been denied uninsured motorist coverage under the agency’s automobile insurance. An appellate court in New Jersey has said the client was not a named insured on the policy and that she was not struck while occupying a covered vehicle. The named insured under the policy was the agency, “family members” residing in the same household, and anyone occupying a covered vehicle.
