Join Our Webinar on Bylaws

Nonprofit Issues® Editor Don Kramer will present a special webinar on bylaws as the Constitution of a nonprofit corporation and the art and science of making them work on Thursday July 15.  The program, co-sponsored with the Pennsylvania Association of Nonprofit Organizations, will take place from 1:30 to 3:00 p.m. ET.

Well-written bylaws protect the power relationships within a nonprofit organization and give clear guidance on procedural matters.  Badly written bylaws encourage disputes, and often lengthy and expensive litigation.  Kramer will review a sample set of bylaws and comment on provisions that do and do not work so that you will be better able to understand your own organization and its governance issues.

For more information and registration, look in the Nonprofit Issues bookstore.

You won’t get legal advice, but you will get Don Kramer’s reactions based on more than 35 years of working with nonprofit organizations. Sign-up here.
