Kramer to speak for Philadelphia Foundation

Nonprofit Issues® editor Don Kramer will speak on the latest developments in nonprofit law for a First Friday program for professional advisors of The Philadelphia Foundation on Friday, May 7.  He will discuss major developments of the last year, with particular attention to cases in Pennsylvania.

Kramer to present talks at 2 PICPA conferences

Editor Don Kramer will make presentations at two separate conferences of the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants in Harrisburg in June

On Wednesday, June 9, at the Health Care Conference, he will make a presentation on Form 990 reporting, with particular attention to Schedule H for hospitals reporting on community benefit.

On Tuesday, June 15 at the Not-for-Profit Conference, he will speak in three separate sessions. He will present his annual update of the law affecting nonprofits, discuss with accountant David Gruber of Amper Politziner & Mattia the accounting rules for permanently restricted funds under Pennsylvania law and the new Uniform Prudent Management of Institutional Funds Act, and participate in a general question and answer panel.
