Kramer to speak at Nonprofit Institute

Nonprofit Issues® editor Don Kramer is a course planner and will present at two sessions of the 8th annual Nonprofit Institute of the Pennsylvania Bar Institute in Philadelphia on Tuesday, May 18.

Kramer will present his annual review of top legal updates as he has for each of the previous Institutes.  He will also speak with attorney Dina Schlossberg on a Top Ten Checklist for small volunteer nonprofit organizations. The session will cover practical tips for understanding the organization and the legal issues that should be addressed to keep the organization running smoothly and without legal calamity.

Two other Montgomery, McCracken attorneys, Tax Editor Virginia Sikes and former Director of the Pennsylvania Bureau of Charitable Organizations Karl Emerson, will present a program on commercial co-venturers and the requirements for charitable solicitation registration.
