A federal District Court in California has dismissed a negligence claim against a “University” within an international religious network that published information about a training program in which a participant was permanently paralyzed in a rope line accident. Jaco Van Maanen had participated in a Youth With a Mission training school in the Netherlands in 2007 and became interested in further training.
