The language used in a director’s letter of resignation may determine whether or not it is effective. That’s the conclusion of an unusual case in California where a court held that although two directors submitted letters of resignation to an Islamic Foundation, only one was effective. In a power struggle over control of the Orange County Islamic Foundation, two directors submitted letters of resignation.
