A self-proclaimed animist and pagan may be barred from an environmental organization’s 300 acre conservancy after he emailed the organization to warn its groundsman that he was going to “have the spirits drop a widow maker on him,” a federal District Court in Michigan has ruled. The individual had regularly visited the Dahlem Conservancy’s environmental education center between 1975 and 2010 without incident. In 2010, he published a letter in a local newspaper criticizing the organization for using a diesel cart, rather than an electric cart, on its property.
