Information concerning the employees of a private contractor providing services to a county agency is not open to the public under the Pennsylvania’s Right-To-Know Law when the information is not directly related to the performance of the contract, the state’s Commonwealth Court has ruled. It has denied a television station’s request for the names, dates of birth and hire dates of employees of a private nonprofit social service agency providing services to clients in Allegheny County’s foster care program.
