The president of a nonprofit foundation who was fired when he told the two brothers who controlled the foundation that he thought they were using it to commit tax fraud is not protected by Missouri’s whistleblower protection rules because he complained to the alleged wrongdoers and not to other parties, the Court of Appeals in Missouri has ruled.
